Aug. 30-1919 B.B.Written on the back: This is the highway through Speed in the foreground notice the interurban tracks in the center of the highway. The road directly in front of the crossing and leading away from the Pennsylvania Ry tracks is the present Riley Drive. The site of the old house to the left is the site of the present Louisville Cement Company mill office. Notice the highway is of dirt, this was about 4 years before the first hard surface road through Speed was laid. |
