The Bowers Boat Livery on the St. Joseph River was operated by Bruce Bowers. This photograph, taken between 1908 and 1915, shows his business when it was probably located at N. Howland (1910-14), although it could possibly be the E. Jackson (1917-20) location. In later years he moved his residence and business to Bowers Ct. (1922-26). Bruce and his wife Emma are likely the couple shown sitting on the porch. |
