4/12/1965 pg. 24 Rescue workers found human beings tangled up in debris after the tornado passed over Midway Trailer Park Sunday night. Their job was a difficult one -- to make sure they missed no one who might need their help. Volunteers administer first aid from an open kit of bandages and supplies. Heavy equipment was taken in to the disaster areas to remove huge trailer bodies and other heavy debris in search of more storm victims. 4/22/1965 pg. 4 Tornado edition: A womans body was uncovered in this rubble of a home in the Sunnyside Addition near midnight on the evening of the disaster. Rescue workers move in to put her on a stretcher. |
