Description: |
This riding toy is a miniature version of the real Oscar Mayer Weinermobile -- an oversized 27-foot long working vehicle that resembles a hot dog on a bun. The first Weinermobile was created in 1936 as a promotional tool for Oscar Mayers German style wieners. Between 1950 and 2000, there were nine variations of the Weinermobile, each building on the latest automotive design technology. In 2004, the newest Weinermobile included six mustard and ketchup colored seats and a state-of-the-art broadcast system to play the famous Oscar Mayer jingle: My baloney has a first name: its O-S-C-A-R. My baloney has a second name: its M-A-Y-E-R. Oh, I love to eat it every day and if you ask me why Ill say --Oscar Mayer has a way with B-O-L-O-G-N-A. |
