| Description: |
These animals can grow to about 17 inches in length, and weigh from 2-4 pounds. They like to live in heavy brush, weed patches, wooded areas close to open areas and near swamps. They are most active from early evening to late morning, spending the day concealed. During the summer they feed on green vegetation, and in the winter on bark or twigs. |
