He had hoped to send a prominent Chinese lady to the International Conference of Women Workers in San Francisco, but due to the political climate, this will be impossible. He encloses an original chinese letter and translation from Mrs. Tseng-Nieh (Jifen Zeng) in which she addresses the International Peace Association.
