Letter from Albert Apponyi to May Wright Sewall.

Description: Although other correspondence reveals a close friendship with his wife Clotilde, Count Apponyi also enjoyed lively conversation with Mrs. Sewall on international political and social causes. I am happy if I have been able to [shed] some light on any question which interests you. I agree with your definition of internationalism...Apponyi was a member of the Hungarian Parliament, active in peace work and Hungarian representative to the League of Nations. Nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1929.
