Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Car in the creek at Beaumont and Eagle Creek. 2) Two calls reporting fire at 16th and Riverside, at the filling station. 3) Discussion with shop staff. 4) Medical emergency at 4701 N Guilford. 5) Abandoned car smoking on 21st St. near New Jersey and Alabama. 6) Medical emergency at 1606 Leonard. 7) Discussion about street work at Shelby and Prospect. Recording ends at 10:07 AM.
