Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Stove fire at 7515 Cullen Dr. 2) Caller at 5767 N Pennsylvania reports a fire in a house two doors south of him, neighbors are out of town. 3) Marion County General Hospital reports that their fire alarm is back in service. 4) Bathroom on fire at 5925 Hillside East Drive, just off Kessler. 5) Car on fire at 644 E 9th St. 6) Sick woman at 1927 Hillside. 6) Woman having trouble breathing at 5046 E New York. 7) Man fell off a dock at 2939 Columbia. 8) Call boxes out at Edison and Bertha as well as Pershing and Ohio. 9) Car fire on 30th St near 30th and Ruckle, between Ruckle and Park. 10) Boy with broken nose at 2309 E New York.
