Description:	This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) Call following up on a fire, recording skips. 2) Fire chiefs office staff member asks if dispatch got an extra newspaper and will come down to pick it up. 3) 700 N Pennsylvania, American Legion National Headquarters, unconscious person. 4) Call following up on ambulance run. 5) Dryer smoking at 2520 Ryan Dr. 6) Sick man at 1525 S Alabama. 7) Building being wrecked at 13th and Bundy Place, need fire department assistance to prevent fire while crews work to demolish the building. 8) Don Lee called to report upcoming fire drill at Cold Springs Rd Veterans Hospital. 9) Car burning in front of 2264 N Meridian St. Recording ends at 11:05 AM.
