Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: Fitzgerald? With the Task Force being told that on any run they make should be made with the full compliments and methods of that Task Force, all men on or off duty should be going in.; Inquiries about the gas truck at the 7s, Newton? the 7s reported that the gas truck was at the 7s. Colton? Requesting that the gas truck remain at the 7s until he can meet him. District 3 in route to Girl School to pick up the skirt?; Police directing the fire department not to send any fire equipment in without a police car to escort them in. Dispatch informing the police that there is already a Task Force in at the Big 10 Market on the 800 block of Indiana Ave.; Chief Russell was in; Car 15 in route to the 13s, Car 13 is back on station, District 3 back on station.; Did the apparatus at the 1s wait on the gas truck, Engine 1 and Truck 1 were at a fire.; 8)Mark everyone on station.; Call to police headquarters; Captain Fitzgerald? call to the 13s, Van Sant? Answered, Fitzgerald? Asking if the gas truck is still at the 13s. The gas truck is not there.; Task Force 1 in service.; Chief Commons asking for a call at 7:30.; Time of the run at the Big 10 with the 1s 3:38-5:03am.; Female reporting a man asleep in a car at the 1500 block of East Legrand; Female caller reporting a man having trouble breathing at 2038 Columbia.; 756 N. Tremont, ambulance dispatched.; Report that the All Clear came in at 4:15am.; Donnelly? Calling to ask about trouble, concerned that his sister is coming into town. Directed to call the police.; Female caller asking how to burn something, directed to burn it in a container.;
