Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. Two alarm fire at Riley Tar and Chemical reported at 1500 South Thames, engines dispatched. 2. Inquiry from other station about Riley Fire progress. 3. Caller asking about location of 2030 Amherst in Indianapolis. 4. Call with questions on disposition of fire hose equipment. 5. Ambulance medical technician asking to speak with Doctor Selzer. 6. Telephone company worker informing dispatcher of relocation of single telephone box.
