This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. Baltimore-Ohio railroad agent instructed to set up alternate rail route around Hygrade fire area. 2. Unconscious child needed oxygen at 110 Broadway. 3. Hospital operator calls asking about major fire location by White River parkway. 4. Central calls to ask when the rail line near the Hygrade fire will be cleared. 5. Another call from Baltimore Ohio railroad agent about Hygrade fire. 6. Call from Hygrade fire requesting shop man support. 7. 11 East Bradbury, unconscious woman. Later call reports her as dead 8. Fire department caller asking about status of railroad tracks near Hygrade fire. 9.
