This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt recorded at 1:38 PM: 1. Fire reported by Oliver and Belmont, black smoke near factory building, engine 19 dispatched to 2200 Oliver Avenue. 2. Boy reports fire at 459 South Rochester, dispatcher calls Wayne Township fire department to report the fire. 3. Fire reported at 2615 South Collier, house near caller is on fire, dispatcher calls Wayne Township. 4. Woman having heart attack in Pacific Life Insurance building. 5.
