Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1. Disregard all shop calls. 2. Question about the Riley Tar and Chemical fire. 3. Indianapolis Water Company asking for update about the Riley Tar and Chemical fire. 4. Car on fire at Michigan and Dorman. 5. Caller asks where 2030 Amerherst is. 6. Telephone man moving Box 236 from 30th and northwest to 29th and northwest. Throughout there are numerous internal calls from station to station and from station to shop.
