This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. House fire at 23rd and Illinois, multiple calls. 2. Fire hydrants that were taken off line for repair work are now in service again, hydrants are located between at Reno Street- west to Dakota. 3. At 38th Street east of Franklin road a car fire reported. 4. Boy badly injured at 1630 Ludlow. 5. Kids set tree on fire at 23rd and Edmonton about 100 yards into the woods. 6. 810 Blake Street, trash fire. 7. 3432 North Chester, grease fire in home. 8. 4835 Winthrop Street, fire in garage.
