Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. Man calls to report derelict house at 1250 Lautten Street, call forwarded to Fire Prevention. 2. Dr. Dellow, at Union Federal Building calling to ask about how to remove fire alarm box from building. 3. At School 42, 1002 Raider Street janitor had a heart attack. 4. Sick man at 1413 North Illinois, Apartment # 3, not breathing. 5. Fire department and coroner needed at 1413 North Illinois, apartment 3 dead man reported there. 6. 710 North Chester, man may be going into heart attack. 7. Man asking for location of Lattin Street. 8. Man calling about fire next to his business at 1205 North Campbell, wanted to ask what he needed to do to have it cleared up.
