This certificate documents the pastoral credentials for Rev. James Jefferson Perry who was appointed to the Emmet Circuit of Arkansas on December 9, 1889. Rev. Perry was the father of Bethel A.M.E. Church (Indianapolis) member Henry Perry. The certificate was signed by Bishop R.R. Disney and sealed with the Episcopal Seal. The Bethel A.M.E. Church Collection was funded by a 2016 grant from LSTA.
