This group of documents pertains to Pastor J. Allen Parker, who served as senior pastor of Bethel A.M.E. Church from 1965-1972. Included in these documents is a program from a Testemonial Ceremony for Dr. J. Allen Parker held September 29, 1972. The program included Dr. Parkers biography, history with the church, lists of his sermons, and testemonials from members of the congregation. The Bethel A.M.E. Church Collection was funded by a 2016 grant from LSTA. The digital partnership was a collaboration between IHS, IUPUI University Library (www.ulib.iupui.edu/digitalscholarship), and Bethel A.M.E. Church. |
