Description: |
Harrison reports that the French traders in the Territory are more alarmed than ever regarding the current level of Indian hostilities. Therefore he has sent Joseph Brouillette, a French trader, along with another trader to Prophetstown to determine the fidelity of the neighboring bands of Potawatomi. Harrison also mentions a letter he is sending for General Wilkinson which contains a document Wilkinsons believes will vindicate his character. Eustis, William, 1753-1825 |
