139th Field Artillery Tents, Camp Shelby, 1918

Description: View of soldiers in front of tents at Camp Shelby, the training camp for the 139th Field Artillery in 1918. Several soldiers can be seen standing or driving horse-drawn carts. Camp Shelby is located near Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It became a training camp in 1917 for World War I troops and was deactivated after the end of the war.
