People line the street with their automobiles in front of the new Zent Brothers Ford Dealership building in Roanoke Indiana on Customer Appreciation Day in 1917. The dealership began with the Zent Brothers auto and livery service started in 1910 by Elmer and Jess Zent. They provided both horse livery and automobile services before securing a contract to sell Ford Motor Company products in 1915. In 1917, they constructed a new brick building for the dealership at the Northeast corner of Main and Vine. The dealership closed in 1973. |
