The photo was taken at the intersection of Capitol and Michigan Streets, looking East on Michigan. The Gibson building can be seen on the right at 433 N. Capitol. In 1908, John Willys purchased Overland Automobile, a division of the Standard Wheel Company. It became the Kaiser-Jeep Corporation in 1963. |
