Indiana W.C.T.U. Convention, 1939

Description: Group portrait of the Womens Christian Temperance Union on the steps of the World War Memorial at their 1939 convention. The photo was taken on the steps of the World War Memorial, next to the First Baptist Church where the convention was held. Located on Vermont and Meridian Streets, the First Baptist Church was demolished in 1960.
The original nitrate negative was copied with funds provided by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission in 1990. This digital image was created from that copy. The copy prints and negatives are stored in Microfiche Number order. Interpositives are stored in PAN number order.
