Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Golden Jubilee Banquet at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum, May 19, 1915

Description: The climax of the Scottish Rite golden jubilee celebration was on May 19, 1915 when more than five thousand Scottish Rite Masons representing every Masonic Lodge in Indiana and prominent Masons from other states dined in the Coliseum at the Indiana State Fair Grounds. The banquet began at five oclock and was preceded by a parade downtown and band concert in the Coliseum. One of the guest speakers at the event was Vice President Marshall. This view of the Coliseum shows the tables set with flowers and bunting hanging from the rafters in preparation for the banquet. Staff can be seen waiting for the guests to arrive.
The original nitrate negative was copied with funds provided by a grant from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission in 1990. This digital image was created from that copy. The copy prints and negatives are stored in Microfiche Number order. Interpositives are stored in PAN number order.
