Half-way House, Mt. Meridian, Indiana

Description: The Halfway House was a well-known inn on the old National Road, located at Mount Meridian, halfway between Indianapolis and Terre Haute. Built in 1834, it became a regular stagecoach stop. It was later enlarged and continued as a hotel and restaurant.
