Cloverdale, Indiana, Dam and Waterfall

Description: Cloverdale was founded in 1839 and named for its clover fields and shady dales. It was a small village with a general store that grew once the railroad came in 1854. Small industries included mills for carding wool, grinding corn, and sawing lumber.
