Court House, Rochester, Indiana

Description: Rochester was platted in 1835 by a mill owner from Rochester, New York. The county’s third courthouse was built in 1895-1896. Carved stone lions stand guard at each entrance, providing dramatic approaches to the stately Romanesque building.
