Description: Members of the Corydon, Indiana volunteer fire department in March 1942. This group photograph was taken following a ceremony in which the men received certificates for completing the first of a ten-part firefighter training course.Back row from left: Russell Leffler, Harry Crosby, captain Paul Quinn, Earl Orwick, Gordon Walts, and Ollie Vaughn. Front row: Leo Schuppert (partly visible), Frank W. Ordner, Jacob Keller, James Smith, Clifford Hurst, Frank Dropsey, Raymond Emily, and fire chief Perry Huntsinger.Firefighter Howard Lockhart was unable to attend the event and is absent from the photograph.
