Description: |
Concrete supports are all that remained after the bridge to Rice Island was washed away in January 1937. This photo was taken sometime after the swollen stream had fallen from the crest it reached during the flood. The small island in Little Indian Creek in Corydon, Indiana contained ballfields and playgrounds for local children. |
