Description: |
Jim Brewster and his wife, Kitty Slemmons Brewster visit with Maurice Griffin and his wife Charlotte (Lottie) Rupp Griffin. Jim and Maurice were first cousins - their mothers, Aurelia Porter Brewster and Helen Porter Griffin, were sisters. The Griffin family lived in the Porter-Griffin house on East Walnut Street in Corydon, Indiana. The Brewsters lived just up the street from the Griffins in what was originally the State Treasurers building. These two historic buildings are state owned historic sites. |
