Griffins dressed in period clothing, October 13, 1951

Description: Members of the Griffin family dressed in period clothing and seated in the parlor of the Porter-Griffin House ready to greet members of the Indiana Pioneer Society as they toured Corydon, Indiana in October 1951. Standing in the back are Charlotte Rupp Griffin (wife of Maurice) and her son Frederick Porter Griffin. Seated, left to right, are Laura Griffin (wife of Freds brother Tim) holding her daughter Jane; Mary Jane (Jennie) Griffin, Pauline Griffin (wife of Freds brother Henry), and her daughter Rebecca. The childrens attire was original clothing of their Griffin ancestors.
