Bill Garey salvages rubber from automobile tire

Description: Bill Garey, owner and operator of Bills Auto Parts, works with an automobile tire at his shop on South Capitol Avenue in Corydon, Indiana. Garey came to Corydon in 1937 and began buying old automobiles and salvaging their usable parts. His operation was first located on Poplar Street, but moved to the Capitol Avenue location next to the fairgrounds in the fall of 1941.
