Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: Cartoon for the 1957 Scott Township-Vanderburgh County Fair. A large man wearing overalls and a straw hat takes up the left side of the cartoon. He is holding a bushel basket full of produce; there is more produce in his other arm and on the ground around him. Corn, squash, carrots, grapes, apples, wheat, and a pumpkin are depicted. The mans overalls have Scott Vanderburgh County Fair written on the bib. In the foreground of the right side, a girl wearing a dress with a four-leaf clover on the back leads a calf labeled 4-H Show by the bridle. A boy pushes the calf, which seems to be refusing to move. Behind them, road signs show the fairs location, at the intersection of Highway 41 and Boonville-New Harmony Road. A rural center, tents, and a Ferris wheel are visible in the background.
