St. Patrick's Day brought a real shamrock. It had 4 leaves in place of the regular 3 leaves or petals - from Mrs. Henry Labhart Tell City, Ind. An old time "Bee-Gum", is on the Leroy Bom Farm near Tennyson Ind. on Highway #62 Sent in by Dr. C. Lomax Dale Ind. Before the modern bee hives were used, a hollow gun tree log was used. Cross bars placed with holes at base for bees. Set on a plant or stone. It was broken up and the honey then taken out. Oddities in birthday and other dates Fred C. Ress of Tell City Ind. who was born on an Easter Sunday - will next Sunday celebrate his birthday for the first time in 57 years on an Easter Sunday. Born March 28 - 1880 on Easter - this the first time since that Easter Sunday was on a March 28. "What is yours"
