Description: |
The zero in a large wall labeled November 30 is an opening which leads to December. A man runs through the opening carrying a long shopping list. A stack of books representing end-of-the-year business and accounting work sits in his path, along with a sign warning him not to trip; the man is looking back toward the viewer and probably has not seen the stack of books. Santa Claus sits on a throne next to a reindeer and a Christmas tree under a sign which says December. A boy and a girl sit on steps which lead up to Santas throne. Knechts elephant, wearing an overcoat and earmuffs, remarks that it feels more like the end of the year now (at the end of November) than it will in a month (at the end of December). Santa Claus Image Access WideTEK 25 November 30. December. Ever-ever-land. Shopping list. Wind-up 1957 business work, accounts, etc., etc. Do not trip. Seems more like end of 57 than a month hence will. [in margins: Now Then!! 1957.] |
