Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: Public holds a set of doors open so that a circus parade, led by a clown and an elephant, can pass through. A woman riding on the elephants head carries a flag which says that it is the Golden Jubilee of Ringling Bros. Circus. Behind on of the doors, a man in a military uniform pulls a circus train car labeled American Legion. Women in skimpy dancing outfits sit in the car. A stamp commemorates the 450th anniversary of Martin Luthers birth. NRA parade tomorrow--the NRA eagle looks at itself in a mirror. It is dressed as the grand marshal of a parade and carries a baton. A boy and a girl watch with interest as a hand pulls a rabbit out of a top hat. Knechts elephant stands between two tents.
