Description:	A cartoon about people parking at bus stop places and utilizing the extra parking spaces to do some shopping during the bus driver strike, some shoes are complaining how theyre wearing out, a driver says to thumb it if hes going there way. There is also a long-distance telephone strike. Image Access WideTEK 25 You dont say! Yes - the last one lasted 3 weeks. I knew that now thered be extra parking places, so Im starting my fall shopping school etc. No parking bus stop. O.K. to use during strike. Inspector Egan. Just thumb me if going my way. To work to shop to doctor to zoo to church to Mesker show to hospital etc. to movies etc. Bus, phone strikes. The Village Wag. The long distance town. in two ways. Yes operator I know - Ill wait till you do get long distance. B. Patient. You dont say! Not since Thursday? Bus stop. Dial system. Remember when I came into being what you said etc.! not effected. it takes such to make one realize what they mean to us - and how many folk who dont have autos.
