Broshears tax receipt of 1858 and a furlough written on ordinary letter paper of the company commander for a months leave during Civil War May to June 1862 Walter Vincent Cypress Ind. raised this pipe shaped ear of corn Geo. C. Fischer, Fischer Grocery Co., to whom he gave it, will have a corn cob pipe made of it. Merry Christmas
