A banner advertises a Golden Banquet celebrating the 50th anniversary of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Public prepares Christmas packages for mailing; a reminder to mail packages this week. Stores are open late in the evening in the days just before Christmas. Three young children watch their parents putting something away in a closet, presumably Christmas presents. The parents say that they are putting the fathers straw hat away for the season. One of the children asks them if they are going to re-lock the closet door when they finish. Minstrel show at the Coliseum. Greenery, ornaments, and lights decorate the streets. Reminder to use Christmas seals.
