See-Know Our TriState Mounds of the aborigines ancient buried city at Wickliffe, KY. Mound builders tombs uncovered that show original bundle type and five burials superimposed on one another. New mounds being uncovered from side to show cross section. More than 800 skeletons have been located and will be exposed. Archaeologist of leading universities supervise the work - they estimates burials were 1400 to 2000 years ago. Fain W. King of Paducah discovered them. To be a state park sometime. A painted owl water bottle found in the tombs at Wickliffe A building has been erected over them Also remains of council house and temples altars show, in other buildings. Also Mr. Kings collection of aboriginal artifacts. Wish I could find buried land of elephants.
