Karl Kae Knecht Cartoon

Description: Georgia puts up a sign saying that there will be an election to decide whether to allow all citizens over 18 to vote; Congress watches and says he is mighty interested in that himself. Other farmers in other sections look at a field of North Dakota Wheat. Army issues order that soldiers in college cant play varsity sports. Coach looks angry about this. A student-soldier says he has only 6 leisure hours a week. Public reads a sign saying that more war bonds and stamps were sold in July than in June, even though 20% tax deductions started in July. Uncle Sam tells him not to rest on the past but to keep doing more and more to end the war.
