Henry Egli Evansville has this old pewter whistle which his father Phillip Egli used 60 years ago when driving the old mule drawn street cars, to toot any one on tracks. Gifford Rice of Dale Ind. RFD. 1 An old hunter with an old cap and ball gun that belonged to his father. It is 138 years old - still shoots. The gun brought down 20 deer and 40 wild turkey. Mr. Rice can recite many interesting tales of days of hunting with this old gun. He is 78 now. A radish from Karl Rodemann, Cynthiana Ind. From Lora Katherine Feldwisch Boonville Ind. RFD. 2. Heavy black indicates roots growing 4 ft. 9 inches above ground in hollow of a dead section of tree killed by fire on the Charles Kappenman Farm 2 mi northeast of Chandler Ind.
