| Description: |
This is an overview of a portion of the White Lick Presbyterian Cemetery. The headstones of Maggie Hylton (1870-1916) and Alvah J. Worrell (d. 1852) are prominently legible in this image. Alvahs parents were William and Patcy Worrell. On the 1850 Census he was 9, so he would have been 12 or 13 at his death. Maggie was the daughter of William and Margaret J. (Barlow) Hylton, members of a strong Presbyterian family. The 1880 Census shows the Hyltons to be from Liberty Township in Hendricks County. This photograph was taken on June 25, 2011. |
