Description: |
William Lindsey proposed a contract with Knox County to provide up to 1500 bushels of lime for the construction of the court house. Lindsey signed the document on April 8, 1809. The proposed contact was accepted and signed the same day by General Washington Johnston and Parmenas Beckes at two shillings per bushel and on condition that Lindsey give bond with William H. Dunica and John Johnson and deliver the lime by June 20, 1809. |
