The file contains information on the suit Jesse Gude brought against Caesar Embre the administrator of the estate of Absalom Hughes. It contains a request for a summons, two summons, and an agreement statement. April 26, 1834, Jesse Gude requested a summon for Rosey [Rose] Hughes and William Fairhurst to appear in May Term 1834 Court. May 29, 1834, Summons were issued to Caesar Embre, administrator of Absalom Hughes estate and Rose Hughes and William Fairhurst by A.D. Scott. They were executed by John Purcell with mileage documentation. May 12, 1834 an agreement was signed by the parties to dismiss the case at the cost of the defendant, Caesar Embre. Gude signed his name, Embre signed with an X, it was attested by A. D. Scott |
