Description:	The file contains Christian Eberwines application for citizenship in the United States on March 8, 1843. It was filled out and filed by W.R. McCord August 12, 1845. The application states that Christian Eberwine was born in Hanover, Germany. He emigrated from the port of Gattingen [Gottingen] Septermber 6 and arrived at the port of New Orleans November 18, 1839. He renounced his allegiance to the king of Hanover and planned on residing in Knox County. The application was dated March 8, 1843 and signed by W.R. McCord, Clerk.
