November Term 1803, Robert Buntin, Clerk issued a summons for Daniel Black, James Todd, William Pique and Samuel McConnel to give evidence to the Grand Jury. William Prince signed that he had summoned the witnesses. According to James Appelgate, foreman, the Grand Jury, indicted and found Christian Hahn guilty of selling cider in less than two gallon quantities in his home on October 29. Included in the file is a listing of court costs, charges, fees and fines. The fine was $12.00 with fees adding up to $9.93 Totaling cost $21.93. |
