Court transcript of the suit of Wharton vs Moore and Ormsby by Robert Buntin. Kearny Wharon complaint against the executors of Michael Lacassagnes estate for failure to pay the sum of two hundred sixty one dollars and one eight cent owed him for merchandise Lacassagne received. The Complaint of Trespass is seeking damages of three hundred dollars. Summons to appear in court were written August 14, 1798 by Pierre Gamelin and served on October 17, 1798 by Christopher Wyant, Sheriff. In November 1798, Wharton filed his declaration by his attorney. |
