Description: |
Nathaniel West has a bill of complaint against Robert Evans and Robert M. Evans. Nathaniel West states that Robert Evans reported that Wests father-in-law, Thomas Lewis, of Virginia had passed away in 1795 and left a considerable estate. Evans was given Power of Attorney to go to Virginia and settle the estate. West received nothing from the estate. Later, in 1806, Nathaniel West gave a Bond of Conveyance to Robert West for his one hundred acres. Robert Evans assigned the Conveyance to Robert M. Evans. Robert M. Evans filed a Bill of Complaint against Nathaniel West to receive the land. |
